Women Brewing Together
Women On Tap CIC are the organisers of the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD) campaign - the annual project that brings women together across the globe to brew beer for International Women’s Day.
IWCBD - originally founded in 2014 by Sophie de Ronde, Burnt Mill Head Brewer - encourages breweries, homebrewers, women in the beer industry, and local communities to collaborate, create truly inclusive beer spaces and experiences, celebrate the contribution of women in the beer industry, and raise money for women’s causes.
From its inception through 2023, the campaign has provided a central platform to connect IWD brewing projects across the globe. We took on the campaign in 2025 and through IWCBD we are on a mission to amplify the voices of the ignored, excluded and underestimated in a powerful act of global action.
IWCBD continues to grow each year, fuelled by the determination of those who demand to be seen and heard in this increasingly challenging world.
This work has never been more important.

As an official close to the 2025 International Women's Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD) campaign, Women On Tap invited some of the brew day project leads to join them on Wednesday 4th June 2025 for an online panel discussion to reflect on their projects and experiences and officially close the campaign for that year.
The event was hosted by KIMBERLEY SPIVEY, who worked on the delivery of the campaign, supported by RACHEL AUTY, founder of Women On Tap CIC who talked a bit more about the impact of the 2025 campaign and plans for IWCBD 2026.
2025 Closing Event
“WOT has achieved great things since its establishment in 2017 and I am thrilled that they want to continue with the initiative and take it to the next level.”
