30+ Brew Days Now Signed Up to IWCBD 2026
International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD) returns this year, marking International Women’s Day with a global programme of collaboration brew days celebrating women in the beer industry and raising funds for women’s causes.
The 2026 theme, UNITE BELONGING, invites brewery teams, home brewers and local communities to come together with intention - creating collaboration beers inspired by connection, inclusion and shared space. Sign-up remains open to all, with over 30 brew days already onboard.
In 2025, 61 brew days took place worldwide, raising £27,000 for women’s causes. The ambition for 2026 is to build on that momentum, increasing both participation and impact, with particular encouragement for international projects to join the campaign.
Campaign Director, Rachel Auty says “Through IWCBD we are on a mission to amplify the voices of the ignored, excluded and underestimated in a powerful act of global action. Since it began in 2014, the campaign has gone from strength-to-strength, fuelled by the determination of those who demand to be seen and heard in this increasingly challenging world. In 2026 this work has never been more important.”
To support participation, 30 free WSET Level 1 Award in Beer places are available to campaign participants, alongside a bursary scheme offering direct financial support to those for whom the costs of attending a local brew day may be a barrier.
IWCBD 2026 is supported by the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA) as headline partner, Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) as Education Partner, and campaign sponsor Simpsons Malt.
With momentum already building, organisers Women On Tap CIC are encouraging more brewers, teams and communities to sign up and be part of a growing global collaboration.
Women On Tap CIC has organised IWCBD since 2025. Find out more about the campaign at www.iwcbd.org
