Women On Tap CIC Advisory Board - New Members Wanted
Women On Tap CIC is recruiting new members for its Advisory Board, including a new Chair role.
The Advisory Board was formed in 2024, and some founding members have now stepped down after completing an 18-month term. This creates an opportunity for new people to join and help shape the next stage of the organisation’s work.
The new recruits will work with our remaining board members. They can be seen here.
What the Advisory Board Does
The Advisory Board supports and challenges the Founder / Executive Director as Women On Tap delivers projects and develops new strands of work. It is not a governing board, but a trusted group that offers:
Strategic advice
Sector knowledge and connections
Honest, supportive challenge
Board members help strengthen the organisation’s impact, credibility and reach by sharing experience, insight and networks, while staying aligned with its mission and values.
Both Advisory Board Member and Chair roles are voluntary. Meetings are held online every other month, with a short online check-in on Discord in between.
The Chair will work closely with the Executive Director to shape and finalise meeting agendas and will chair the online meetings, ensuring good discussion, agenda flow and time keeping.
