Become a Changemaker: Help Us Build a More Inclusive Beer Industry
Since 2017, we’ve been proud to work alongside brilliant breweries and organisations who share a belief that the lack of diversity across the beer industry is holding it back - and that meaningful change is essential. Their support has powered our work to create a movement and make the industry more welcoming, representative, and inclusive for women.
Thanks to that support, we’ve delivered high-impact initiatives including WOTFEST, The Beer Glass Project, SUMMER HOP, and most recently the International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day (IWCBD) campaign.
Until now, most of our financial backing has been tied to specific events or one-off projects. While this has allowed us to achieve a great deal, it limits our ability to plan for sustained and long-term impact.
Following a strategic review with our Advisory Board — where we refined our goals, impact measures, and developed a Theory of Change model — we identified a crucial next step: building a sustainable, year-round income stream to ensure continuity and growth.
Introducing Changemaker
In Spring 2025, we launched Changemaker for Individuals, inviting people to support our mission for just £3.50 a month.
Now, we’re excited to introduce Changemaker for Organisations — the simplest way for breweries and industry partners to show their commitment to diversity and inclusion in beer.
By becoming an Industry Member, your organisation directly fuels positive change and helps us build a stronger, more equitable future for everyone in the beer community.

A digital Changemaker badge – to proudly display your commitment to inclusion
Access to our network – including opportunities to share job listings, features, and other industry news in our newsletter
A voice in shaping the movement – through opportunities to contribute ideas and insights

We’re a small, values-led social enterprise with minimal overheads and every additional pound goes directly toward advancing our mission.
Specifically, your membership enables us to:
Invest in professional design and communications, ensuring our campaigns look sharp and reach wider audiences
Pay skilled freelancers and project specialists, allowing us to deliver high-quality initiatives and amplify our impact
Fund vital research and development, providing the evidence base to drive industry-wide change
Develop new initiatives, such as our forthcoming Bursary Scheme, which will help more women access networking and professional development opportunities
Plan for the future, giving us the confidence to look 3–5 years ahead rather than just the next 12 months
While we occasionally rely on voluntary support, we are committed to fair pay for skilled work. Sustainable funding through Changemaker ensures that inclusion work in beer is done professionally, impactfully, and equitably.
