Women On Tap and SIBA Launch 2026 Beer Industry Diversity & Inclusion Survey
Women On Tap has partnered with SIBA to launch the 2026 Beer Industry Diversity & Inclusion Survey, sent exclusively to SIBA members this month.
The survey aims to uncover what's genuinely holding SIBA members back from widening their audience, improving inclusion, and building more diverse workplaces - looking at the specific barriers, behaviours, perceptions, knowledge gaps and support needs facing companies across the membership. SIBA's membership offers a strong, representative sample of the independent beer sector, making the results a meaningful indicator of the state of play across the wider industry.
Responses will close at 6pm on Friday 28 August 2026, with findings published later this year in a full report. The report will be accompanied by an action plan setting out practical steps to support positive change, and both will be shared across the wider industry.
SIBA members completing the survey will be acknowledged as contributors in the final report, receive a copy of it directly, and be entered into a prize draw for a complimentary 1-year Women On Tap Industry Changemaker membership worth £160.
Rachel Auty, Executive Director of Women On Tap, and Neil Walker, Head of Comms and Marketing at SIBA, say the survey marks an important step in building an evidence-based picture of where the industry stands - and what's needed to move it forward.
