Meet Our New Executive Assistant
We are delighted to welcome Helen Jarvis to the Women On Tap team as our part time Executive Assistant.
With many years of involvement in the brewing industry, Helen combines extensive industry knowledge with a lifelong passion for beer and brewing.
Growing up near Burton upon Trent, the historic heart of British brewing, she developed an early appreciation of the sector and later utilised the Bass Archives as a key resource for her dissertation research.
Her experience includes business relationship management within the pub and licensed trade sectors, operational roles in pubs, and for the last two years she has been working with the National Brewery Heritage Trust, where she contributes to preserving and promoting the UK's brewing legacy.
Helen will be working with WOT founder Rachel as we aim to deliver more - including an exciting new project - over the coming months. She will be looking after the Beer Unlocked bursary scheme and supporting broader communications, fundraising and administration as we gear up for our 10th anniversary year in 2027!
Helen says “I am delighted to be working with Women on Tap CIC, supporting its mission to champion diversity, inclusion, and opportunities for women within the beer and brewing industry.”
Rachel adds “We had a lot of interest in this role, which was great to see and made the job of shortlisting and interviewing very difficult. Helen stood out as she brings a deep knowledge of beer and a passion for our mission, combined with excellent organisation skills to help us keep many plates spinning. She’s positive and proactive. I’m delighted she is joining us and I know she will be a asset to our work and mission”
Cheers to that! 🍻
